Cookies Policy

How our website uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and how to change your choices.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. What cookies are and why we use them

This policy explains how Park Home Claim Limited (“Park Home Claim”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.parkhomeclaim.co.uk. Please read it with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal information more generally.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Websites can also use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, scripts and your browser’s storage, to remember your choices, measure how the website is used and support advertising.

We use them to keep our website working, to remember your choices, to understand which adverts and links bring people to us, and to improve our website and services. We only use analytics and advertising cookies if you accept them.

2. The types we use

Necessary

These remember your cookie choices. They do not need your agreement, so you cannot switch them off in our cookie settings. You can block them in your browser, but we will then ask for your choices on every visit.

Campaign information

When you arrive on our website from an advert, a poster, a beer mat or another link, your browser’s temporary storage notes where your visit began, so that if you send us an enquiry we know which advert or link it came from. It is not a cookie, it stays on your device, it is only sent to us if you send an enquiry, it is not shared with anyone else and it is deleted when you close the browser tab. We store it as soon as you arrive, without asking first, because it is how we know which of our adverts are working.

Analytics, only if you accept them

These help us understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and which browser or device is used, so that we can improve it.

Advertising, only if you accept them

These come from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. They measure how well our adverts work, link activity on our website to an advert, and help show our adverts to people likely to be interested. They can recognise your browser.

3. What our website stores

Each item shows who sets it, what it does, how long it lasts, and whether we need your agreement. Google and Meta can change the names and lengths of their cookies when they update their services.

Necessary

  • phc_consent_v2 (Park Home Claim, browser storage): remembers your cookie choices. Kept for 12 months, then we ask again. No agreement needed.

Campaign information

  • phc_attribution (Park Home Claim, browser storage for this tab only): which advert, poster, beer mat or link brought you to our website. Deleted when you close the tab. Stored without asking, as explained in section 2.

Analytics, only if you accept them

  • _ga (Google Analytics): tells visitors apart. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_ followed by a code (Google Analytics): remembers the current visit. Lasts up to 2 years.

Advertising, only if you accept them

  • _fbp (Meta): recognises your browser. Lasts up to 90 days.
  • _fbc (Meta): remembers the Facebook or Instagram advert you clicked. Lasts up to 90 days.
  • _gcl_au and other cookies beginning _gcl (Google Ads): link a click on a Google advert to an enquiry. Last up to 90 days.

If you accept analytics or advertising cookies and later change your mind, our website deletes them from your browser.

4. Information sent without cookies

When you send an enquiry after clicking one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts, our website tells Meta about it directly, without using cookies, and we may do the same with Google for our Google adverts. Section 9 of our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent, why, and how to object.

Read our Privacy Policy

5. Other companies’ technology on our website

  • Google: analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising measurement.
  • Trustpilot: the review box on some of our pages loads from Trustpilot’s servers, so Trustpilot receives technical information such as your device’s IP address when the page loads.

These companies use information under their own privacy and cookie policies, and may act as separate or joint controllers depending on the activity. We do not control how they use their cookies, so please read their policies:

6. Changing or withdrawing your choices

When you first visit our website, we ask for your choices about analytics and advertising cookies. We do not treat continued browsing as agreement.

  • On our website: use the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of any page to review, change or withdraw your choices at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing.
  • In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Your browser’s help pages explain how. Blocking some cookies may affect how websites work.
  • With advertising platforms: you can manage advertising preferences in your Google, Facebook and Instagram account settings.
  • Google Analytics: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting information about your visits.

Google Analytics opt-out add-on

If you clear your browser’s cookies and stored data, or use a different browser or device, we will ask for your choices again.

7. Changes to this policy and contact details

We may update this policy when the cookies we use, our providers or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. Where a change affects your choices, we will ask for your agreement again where the law requires it.
